    1. We felt the same way Ribana. We felt quite emotional reading through all of the replies. We wanted to make sure that every response made it into the patchwork. Collectively they make something remarkable.

    1. Hey Sadje – you know, we wondered how many replies we would receive back when we sent this question out. We had no idea who would answer and what they would say. But it became fascinating and very emotional to read the replies. I honestly found it one of the most rewarding blogging projects I have ever worked on.

    1. Hey Puman – sorry I am so late with replying to comments (so many arrived over the weekend). You know, I was amazed by the responses we received back to this question and it felt so important to make sure every response was included, positive or negative. It seemed more powerful for having those contrasts. I found myself quite tearful when we viewed the finished production.

      The chance to have so much fun with so many other writers and foodies is wonderful. We love the happy spirit and creativity from others. We are so glad it has become this lively, international, multi-cultural event – it feels very special.

  6. This is very very special. I felt very emotional as I read through it. All those people, all those stories of love, all those hearts either full of happiness or in some cases heartache. It was so important to include every reply as you said in your other post, yes, that makes it so much more. It is an authentic slice out of mankind – what it is we are motivated by, how that leads us to treat others – this is a huge tribute to love, and to people. United we can do something very special – if we let love rule.

    1. We found ourselves getting emotional when we were working on the graphics Joy. Even though most of the replies are just one sentence (which is what we asked of everyone) those answers tell a story, and together they tell a very powerful story – a real insight into the human experience and the belief that love is vital to our happiness, our health, and our future, but also that some feel disappointed in some respects. It is so fascinating to think of all the hearts that contributed to this project, and all the people around the earth who are trying their best every day.

      Yes….I totally agree with you – united in love, we can do something very special.

  20. You three should be very very proud of all the work you put into this weekend.
    You brought a lot of smiles, a lot of laughter, and a lot of rumbling tums with all those amazing photos. But this – this is just beyond special. I think you have a very beautiful mind, and that you want this world to be full of love. As someone who feels the same way – I have to say thank you for all you do to make this world a happier, more loving place. We definitely need more dreamers.

      I am not going to deny that I want a happier more loving world, and I think most people do. So every opportunity we have to promote fun, laughter, joy, sharing – it has to be a good thing. We really enjoy the BAKE OFF – truly – but it is only possible because of the many that contribute. It would be nothing without them. So we feel very grateful to everyone who helped to make it very special.
