Jim Adams, aka Newepicauthor, the creator of A Unique Title For Me, is hosting SONG-LYRIC-SUNDAY and this week he has chosen the truly delightful theme: FRAUD/HYPOCRITE/PHONY/PRETENDER/SNOB

This was a hard theme for me. It took me ages to find a song that was familiar. But eventually I did find a track I loved listening to on the radio in my youth. I was too embarrassed to link the original video because it is too much of a flesh-fest…cringe! I don’t remember ever watching the video when I was a kiddo.

I guess this track was released when Jennifer Lopez was at the height of her popularity and earning a lot of money and her message I suppose was that she had not forgotten her roots….or perhaps that she was not a phony. This is one of her most famous releases, “Jenny From The Block”.
