There was something in the air that night
The silence amplified every sound
He touched my hand, a spark shot through me
He drew me close, then span me around
Two smitten hearts were struck with lighting
That look of passion deep in his eyes
Declaring he was yearning for me
Breathless as my pulse began to rise
In his strong arms I felt so alive
He led me on quite a merry dance
Had me magnetised right to his side
Electric charging a sweet romance

lol! I had the idea of trying to write about the excitement when the spark of attraction is obvious…I got a bit too wrapped up in counting syllables and trying to use rhyme – it’s not what I hoped, but I just didn’t have time to do anything more to it.

You can feel the tingly sensation in the words!

And that is a word I was trying to find a way to use! It was all about the tingles of attraction, but I couldn’t tingling into any of the lines.

I’m in the middle of a poem right now… I call these things word locked… because I can feel the direction and the way it’s supposed to go, but the words aren’t cooperating..
