Or whether you plan to return

You lift my heart high above the clouds
You inspire me with hope
I can’t be without you
With you I have a sense of freedom
Serene peace and inner calm
I need to be with you
You are floating through life without a care
Taking each day as it comes
I am lost without you
What adventures and wonders await you
To colour and enrich your life
I want to be with you
One my closest family members has cancer
I only found out this morning
Can’t do this without you
I might slow you down or become a burden
But it would mean so much
Take me away with you
