Trying to stay still and silent
Overwhelmed with fear
Shivering in the frigid air
Will he find me here?
Waiting for darkness to close in
Run throughout the night
Strong enough to keep on running
Too weak for a fight
Terrified as he pursues me
Tracks me through the snow
What did I do to deserve this?
