Wow! THE GREAT BLOGGERS’ BAKE-OFF 2020 SUMMER PICNIC has been far more spectacular than we would ever have imagined. It is hard to keep up with all the photos and comments and love that have poured in from our international WordPress community.

I have been glued to my laptop all weekend, with the company of lovely man you know as Jack. It is the perfect time to have a cuppa. We don’t have long left before we pass all the responsibility over to our amazing judge Jeanne, who has the extremely difficult task of deciding who will be the 2020 STAR BAKER!

While Jack puts the kettle on (hint hint Jack) to make me a cuppa, we have another perfect PICNIC snack from robbiesinspiration Robbie, the creator of Robbie’s inspiration. Robbie has given me a whole new take on scones! She made these scrummy Cheese and Olive Scones. Here is one of Robbie’s posts where she shared them with us on her website:

Now…I have to admit Robbie really set me a challenge in another way. She probably did not realize that I make it my mission to find a musical connection to every single BAKING and PICNIC creation, and so far, I think I have done quite well. But searching for songs about olives and scones yielded a disappointing selection of songs. So I went with CHEESE!!! Say “Cheeeeeeeese and Olive Scones“!!!
