Since I started a new job recently, I have the enviable advantage of walking to work. Although it only takes a few minutes, it has of course been wintry over the past few months.
So, I am still in the habit of walking to work in trainers (just like when I had a long commute across London) and switching my shoes when I arrive. I used to be so vain about making sure my style was en pointe from head to toe…but at some point I have ceased to feel any embarrassment about being caught with my trainers on.
My smart shoes are all looking good!
