What a great theme!! We have all had that experiences of recognizing the intro to a song on the radio and saying, “Turn it up, turn it up!” Or sipping a Baby Cham and hearing the first few seconds of a song that compels us to jump up on the dance floor. I think intros are hugely important, and perhaps especially to a song that you want to be a hit. The intro is going to make people know the great track to follow, stop what they are doing and listen.
My mind was flooded with ideas for this them – flooded!!! First I thought Lemmy Kravitz, then Temptations, then I thought Aerosmith, then Whitney Huston, but the list goes on and on and on. The song I have chosen though…it is one my friends and I just go crazy over!!! I think I chose it because right now my characters Dean Mathers and the other members of his band are swimming around my head. I keep on thinking about the garage where they practice. So the video for this song gives me some little ideas for the fictional band I am writing about.
