When I went away on holiday, I took a couple of books and I am ashamed to admit that I did not have chance to read a single page. I was so looking forward to having the time to read, to let my mind wander, but it did not happen.
I have no regrets that I spent so much time with family. If course my relatives come before reading for pleasure. But now I am back in London, I would still love to wangle a way to have some time to myself to pick up a book and have a little escape through it.

I have a feeling I am going to be able to catch up on my reading this week, lol
It feels good to have time for reading. I am sure it is really good for us on so many levels.

We have just come back from Canada, and I was able to indulge in reading for pleasure. But it was lovely to come back and catch up on your writing Dear. I do wish you had more time for both reading and writing.
Hello Joy, how was your time in Canada? I thought I would have more time for reading and writing when I was away but it did not work out that way. I still had lots of fun though.
For the first time in years I’m forcing myself to find the time to read each day. I’m realising what I’ve been missing.
Reading is so good for your mind.
