The Earth Beneath My Feet

Jim Adams, aka Newepicauthor, the creator of A Unique Title For Me, is hosting SONG-LYRIC-SUNDAY and this week he has chosen the theme: SOCKS/SHOES/BOOTS/FEET

I have picked a pretty song for you today. I know next to nothing about the song or the artist, except that it was used in the score of a film starring Nicole Kidman called “Australia“. I tried to do a Wikipedia search on Angela Little, and that threw up some very confusing results.

It is a shame I do not have much to tell you. So on this occasion, please just enjoy this incredibly pretty song. Oh and by the way – the picture I chose from Pixabay is from Darwin, Australia – but they are definitely not Boab trees.

Sing and I will hear you, no matter where you are
A song to light the darkest night
And guide me from a far
And I will never be alone
Now I know you're somewhere
You're everywhere to me
You're the color in the sky
A reason to believe
And when the rain falls down, you tell a story
And I will hear you, always near you
By the boab tree

Uh uh ....

Lay your arms around me, like the falling rain
Let the feeling drown me
And life begins again
And I will never be afraid
Now I know you're somewhere
You're everywhere to me
The warming of the sun upon
The earth beneath my feet
And when the rain falls down, you tell a story
And I will hear you, always near you
By the boab tree

Uh uh ....

Now you're somewhere
You're everywhere to me
You're the color in the sky
And you're the earth beneath my feet
And when the rain falls down, you tell a story
And I will hear you, always near you
By the boab tree
Uh uh ...
Uh uh uh uh uh ...
