All The Stars Will Smile For Me

Jim Adams, aka Newepicauthor, the creator of A Unique Title For Me, is hosting SONG-LYRIC-SUNDAY and this week he has chosen the theme: SPACE/PLANETS/ALIENS

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…

I am taking a slight liberty with this theme. You see, I have chosen a song from a band called “Spacehog”, who released an album with lots of songs that mentioned space, planets and aliens. Only, none of the songs on the album are as memorable to me as the track I have chosen. However, the song does mention stars, and the sun, and spacey things.

This track is called “In The Meantime”, and I remember it well. I remember going to watch this band, I think at the Manchester University Student’s Union. I also remember something else that happened that night, which made me realize I did not want to work in the music industry at all.

The memories are still there, but I am so bored of them. So glad I made that decision. No regrets. No looking back. Still a great tune from a band from the very distant past.
