Pear Perfection A La Paris!

We have had some truly spectacular baking photographs this year, and I know that you are going to love what we have lined up for you this weekend from some truly amazing bloggers. But there is also such a heart warming side to the bloggers that have taken part in this year’S GREAT BLOGGERS’ BAKE OFF FESTIVAL OF LOVE.

Many of you will already have discovered the exceptional foodie website One More Bite. Just reading their ABOUT page made me melt! Julie sent some of their stunning baking photographs, and look out for more truly exquisite creations from them this weekend.

We are going to start with pear perfection!!! The photo below is of their Pear Frangipane Tart, which is beautiful in itself, but how you will love the post all about this bake, which you can read by clicking the link below. (I always know I am going to enjoy a post when the first line is: “The last time I was in Paris”!)

We are truly privileged to have received some sublime photographs of some of Julie’s very talented baking productions. Due to the number of posts we have on the schedule this weekend, I have had to double up some pf Julie’s photos. This delight is Julie’s Lemon Mascarpone tart with Muscatel Grapes and edible flowers. Isn’t it lovely! We have so much more to show you from Julie’s repertoire over the weekend.

I also love how year after year, the flavours of France end up heavily featured by our fantastic bloggers – deservedly so, France has to be a foodie paradise – and this year provides the opportunity for love songs with a French Twist too!! How fitting to have the city of love early on in this year’s BAKE OFF!! And we are doubling up on songs already to squeeze in all of the beautiful love songs we have in store for you this weekend!

OK…..I am starting to get worried now Caramel – I was so sure I was in line for star baker this year. I am already seeing some serious talent. Loving this. It’s giving me the flippin’ tummy rumbles you wrote about a few days ago.
