We have a special feature in THE 2021 GREAT BLOGGERS’ BAKE OFF FESTIVAL OF LOVE. We invited you to send in photographs of baking creations resembling your pets or animals you love (if you don’t have pets of your own).
We are thrilled that our great bloggers on WordPress have taken on this challenge and they have surpassed all our expectations! Just wait until you see what we have in store for you this weekend!!!
The first animal inspired bake is from the very talented creator of Tango’s Baking. This beautiful bread tribute to his favourite childhood cartoon character! I love it!!

All of the bloggers who have created pet of animal inspired bakes are being given a badge they may wish to display on their website to show they took part in the special GREAT BLOGGERS’ BAKE OFF PET LOVE challenge!!!

We know that there is a lot of love for pets and animals out there amongst the great bloggers on WordPress. We love seeing beautiful photographs of your:
- canine companions,
- furry feline friends,
- beautiful birds,
- cute apple munching woodchucks,
- unexpected adorable garden visitors,
- sock eating bundles of fun
- and the gorgeous animals you discover on nature walks!
There is a lot of pet and animal love out there on WordPress, which makes reading posts an absolute joy!!!
However….the beautiful bread load we featured from the creator of Tango’s Baking reminds me of an important lesson many pet owners have come to realize. Never let your pets take over the kitchen! We all know what the happens when we turn our backs!
How we love our planet and all of it’s creatures!!! Love means making the right decisions and actions big and small to make a difference! It’s as simple as that!
How cute

That’s very effective, I know it is very hard to make bread sculptures. This is very clever!

I have never attempted anything like this. It is very cute, but I am sure it is not any easy thing to make a loaf that resembles a cat. Bravo Tango’s Baking!

Oh I love this. But how could you possibly slice a piece of bread when it is so pretty?!!!

I loved that Garfield video. Bread is hard to control. I have made a few loaves in my time, all misshapen, so I know how clever this is.

You raise an excellent point though. I think one of our other bloggers asked how you could take a knife to such a beautiful bake?!
