What Is Your Favourite Love Song?

We know how much WordPress bloggers love music! For the past two years THE GREAT BLOGGERS’ BAKE OFF has been a very lively and very musical event – this year is no exception!!! We have some fantastic songs about love lined up for you over the weekend.

However, we would love to know your favourite love song! We are going to compile a special GREAT BLOGGERS’ BAKE OFF playlist!!!

We would like you to let us know in the comments below the name of your favourite love song, and hopefully which singer or band you prefer singing it. If you would like to include a link to a YouTube video – that would be great!

This is an international family friendly blogging event – so songs can be in any language, except for bad language. 🙂

We are hoping for lots of variety, so if you see another blogger has already mentioned your first pick, please like their comment (then it has much more chance of being on the playlist) and tell us another of your favourite songs.

If we are clever enough to work it out, we will try to feature the compilation in the order of popularity. In other words, the more likes a song choice has, the further up the playlist it will be.

❤ Am I over-complicating this? ❤

We cannot wait to see what your favourite love songs are!!!

  1. There is a song I always loved, since I was a child but something made it even more special for me a few years ago when we saw Kylie Minogue at Hyde Park.

I nearly fainted when Jason Donovan came onto the stage. It was the best moment, and I was in tears as we sang along with them!

  2. I find the Ray Charles song I Can’t Stop Loving You still reduces me to tears when I hear it. I love it. I lost someone very close years ago, and although he will always always live on in my heart, there are still days when the tears pour like a waterfall. I will always love him and he is a part of who I am and everything I do now and always will be.

  3. One of my favourites I just saw in one of the baking posts, but you chose such a beautiful singer. I think it has to be included, “Can’t Help Falling In Love”.

  4. So many great songs here. I found it very hard to pick just one.
But this song makes me think of dancing with someone very special to me.
Gloria Estefan – Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me

  5. I have been listening a lot to the original and Gloria Estefan version of Love on A two way street. I was partial.to Gloria’s tnan the original by the moments grew on me. They both have a different feel.

  6. I am going much younger on all of you and say I have grown to love Like A child by the Backstreet Boys from their second international album Backstreets Back. I like vulnerability and the ocherstal arrangement.
