A Whole New World Is Waiting

Jim Adams, aka Newepicauthor, the creator of A Unique Title For Me, is hosting SONG-LYRIC-SUNDAY and this week he has chosen the theme: OLD/NEW/BORROWED/BLUE

In the process of searching for a song for this post, I bypassed many familiar songs which I love, in favour of a song that I had never heard of before. Perhaps I was a little bit swayed by the cartoon video I found on YouTube – just a little. How do you know that you are officially old? When you only recognise a couple of characters from a Disney animash. At least I know what an animash is!!

Apparently, I am officially a millennial, and although I think that word sometimes is assigned as a negative designation, I am claiming it!

The song I have chosen is called “Today My Life Begins” and it is sung by Bruno Mars. I enjoyed the track, and I really enjoyed the lyrics – there is a lot of positivity there for you!

How uplifting! I really enjoyed your choice. And definitely claim that millennial designation. Your cohort gets a bad rap sometimes. How sad to be classified by the decade you were born instead of your actions. Cheers from a Boomer cusp of Gen X 🙂
