Last year it was Gary, aka bereavedandbeingasingleparent, who had the idea of holding a BAKE-OFF FOR BLOGGERS. Last year, Gary left us all completely speechless at his baking creations – wonderfully unique.
Gary has certainly not let us down this year! Last month Gary began his baking training in preparation for a live performance. That’s right folks…this weekend Gary is back in the kitchen and he is taking on the challenge of making something special for THE GREAT BLOGGERS’ BAKE-OFF and will share the results with us before the weekend is through! It is very exciting!!!

I think I have had the most fun at thinking up musical links to Gary’s baking!
As for his baking….it’s like a roller coaster of highs and lows…one of his photos is so rude I don’t know if I can show it!

We agree!
Last year we held the BAKE-OFF in March…but this year that seemed impossible.
So I am so glad we postponed it and turned it into a SUMMER PICNIC.

Last year we were chatting online, and he said “wouldn’t it be great to have a bloggers’ bake-off?” As soon as he suggested it, I knew it was a brilliant idea. The two of us started working on ideas, and we were so glad that Jeanne was willing to get involved too. She makes an awesome judge. I don’t think Gary and I could cope with the responsibility of judging!
