A huge thanks to all of the bloggers who took on the challenge set in this year’s GREAT BLOGGERS’ BAKE-OFF and to all who cheered our baking bloggers on with your lovely comments and likes.

Thank you to Gary who thought of the idea to begin with and to our special judge Jeanne. It has been an absolute delight to work along with these two on THE BAKE-OFF.

This is the round-up post where you will find the cakes that were baked during our BAKE-OFF and links to their posts on the BAKE-OFF CAKE PARADE  and links to the posts that our bloggers created themselves.

    1. Lol – it took me so long to add all the links – my lap-top was getting all hot and bothered and trying to copy and paste between different tabs was painful!!!

I should have started it earlier!!!

I love seeing those cakes – I feel so proud of what everyone has done – it really was super Gary 🙂

            1. Luvvy….it’s all over now – I have promised not to mention cake on my blog until 2020 🙂

As I recall, you were quite worried over the weekend about things of greater consequence than cake. But you sound much more upbeat now, and that is what matters most.

We had fun! We are going to do it again. It’s not for everyone. I am sure there were some bloggers sick to the back teeth of cake posts on Sunday…but if it is once a year we should be able to get away with it.

  1. WOW! What an amazing bunch of cakes! 🙂

Briiliant Job, Mel… and you are such an over-achiever… THREE cakes?? Sheesh!

My thanks once again to you and gary for putting a great idea together and running it so successfully. 🙂

    1. lol – I started baking a couple of weeks ago Bob – I thought “what if nobody else bakes?” I am going to need to have something to show!

It’s all been great fun and my friends are very happy I have been baking so much.

    1. These cakes were all from last year. This was just to give everyone an idea of the fun we had last year. We are really looking forward to this year’s BAKE-OFF. It will be in July but bloggers are already making things for the picnic or baking for the baking contest and sending in their photos. It will be great!!!

    1. Nope!!! This was the round up from last year to give people ideas if they missed out on the fun last year.

This year’s BAKE-OFF is in July. But we would absolutely love it if bakers would start sending their photos any time from now so we can prepare in advance.

Sophie we have already had some photos coming in and it looks as if it is going to be fabulous!!!

Your cake was so much fun last year! We can’t wait to see what you come up with this year ❤ ❤ ❤
