THE CARAMEL CRUNCH #6

CARAMEL CRUNCH1

WHEN IT COMES TO THE CRUNCH – WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

You become aware that the marriage mate of a friend of yours is romantically involved with someone else. As far as you are aware your friend does not know anything about it.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

What is THE CARAMEL CRUNCH? Well, it’s all about decisions. When it comes to THE CRUNCH what would you do?

One of the definitions of the word CRUNCH is:

a crucial point or situation

 – generally involving a decision with weighty consequences

  • Your response can be a quickie. Please feel free to send a comment to say what you would do, and if you have time or are inclined, please feel free to explain your decision.
  • If you would like to create a post with a longer explanation of your decision, please pingback to THE CARAMEL CRUNCH post. (Or copy and paste a link to your post in the comments section – please feel free.)

If you know anything about CRUSHED CARAMEL, you will probably realize I am a gentle soul, so my questions are not supposed to be terrifying! What I am hoping for really is to see a variety of responses. Afterall, it’s pretty obvious that WordPress bloggers are from a huge variety of backgrounds and cultures. It would be fascinating to learn more about how we as individuals make decisions.

Some of the questions I am going to ask are questions I have discussed with friends when we have been having coffee or dinner. I often find there is no clear right or wrong. It can be so much a matter of our individual experiences and outlook. I find it fascinating how very different some of us are when it comes to decision making.

We all have different outlooks, and may make different decisions. I am really looking forward to learning WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

As Long As Stars Are Above You

alwsyaI am being rather self-indulgent and choosing a few of my favourite love songs this month. Why not hey?

There are a multitude of love songs out there. They are two a penny. Some are better than others, I am sure you’ll agree. There are the dire, desperately dramatic dirges. There are the soppy, the hoppy, the boppy and the poppy tracks about love and all it’s excitement. Then there are the simple, heartfelt, exquisite refrains. I count the song I am featuring today as amongst the latter.

Today’s theme for Bee’s music festival “Love Is In Da Blog” is:

A Song about love that lasts

Love that lasts is the best! It is real love surely! Love that has faced all sorts of challenges and has endured. Love that lasts is precious, and I think most of us long for it and admire couples who have supported each other through thick and thin. For some, they have sadly lost their partner, and their love is still going strong. It’s absolutely touching that humans can feel love like that.

My choice of song today has become one of my firm favourite love songs. It was originally a track from The Waterboys. Ellie Goulding also covered it, but she sounds as if she is twelve, and to me a child-like voice does not convey the depth of meaning. However, Kristina Train packs a lot of emotion into her stunning voice. I just love her version of these endearing and beautiful sentiments.
