When The Rain Is Blowing In Your Face

Adult, Blur, Bokeh, City, Evening, LightBee, the creator of The Bee Writes…, is hosting a music festival, which I have to say, is pretty darn tootin cool! Don’t you think! By the looks of things her themes for this month long festival are going to rival Glastonbury!

Today’s theme is:

A love song for, about or with weather in it

This is Bee’s post for today’s LOVE IS IN DA BLOG Music Festival, where you can find a line up of songs from other blogger’s on today’s theme:

Love Is In Da Blog 2020 Day 6: A love song for, about or with weather in it & Prompt for Day 7

So this absolutely beautiful song from the marvellous Adele mentions rain, wind and storms – so I think it fits today’s theme a treat! I have often found myself singing this song about my feelings for Goldfinch. He is so so so far away! The distance is crushing. I am always trying to think of ways to make sure he still feels my love from the opposite side of the planet!

  1. Hi, thanks for taking part again 😚 Unfortunately, I am not a huge fan of Adele. I think the only music of hers I like is her Bond song. That is gorgeous though. Have a happy day despite everything 😚🙋‍♀️🐝

    1. I don’t think I am a fan of many modern musicians. But I like individual songs.
Fandom is a weird thing. When I a lot of musicians stop singing and start opening their mouths to talk, or just the way they seem to behave in public…well, it usually stems my enthusiasm for them.

  2. What a pretty song, but yet melancholy, too. I can see why you like it. Adele has a beautiful voice, and I’ve liked most of her songs. This was a new one for me. Thanks for sharing it. 🙂
