I keep on seeing the advert from Marks And Spencers for jumpers. I like it. Yeah, I do. Not going to deny that.
Now I like jumpers. I do. Not going to deny that. The problem with jumpers is CENTRAL HEATING. Jumpers are great to wear when you go out into the cold. England can be very cold in the winter. A jumper is a very fine thing indeed.
However, the moment you rock up at the home of your friends, they open the front door and a wave of hot air comes blasting out at you. A jumper is a nightmare. I would overheat and faint if I kept it on. So invariably, I want to pull my jumper off. That means make-up all over the collar. It means my hair is messed up and ends up all static. And I end up sitting in a vest top because my friends have turned the central heating up so high, I may as well be on a beach in the Caribbean.
So I am going to admit to you, for all of these reasons – I am a cardi girl!
Hail the cardi! x

My friends used to sing “I’m a cardi girl” to me…to the tune of “I’m a Barbie girl”. Cardis are so much easier!

Lol. People would order me a Bacardi & Coke when I’d clearly asked for vodka & tonic!

In Yorkshire it’s like a second skin, bit like the Walrus and blubber.
