They’ve Been Known To Pick A Song Or Two

Jim Adams, aka Newepicauthor, the creator of A Unique Title For Me, is hosting SONG-LYRIC-SUNDAY and this week he has chosen the theme: A SONG THAT REFERENCES ANOTHER GROUP IN IT

Well, I found this theme a tough one I must admit! I had to ask Google to help me out. I have picked a song that I believe qualifies as it mentions another group, but they were a group I had not actually heard of. In fact I had to read all about them on Wikipedia, and please feel free to do the same.

Anyway, it is a great tune and so I was more than happy to choose “Sweet Home Alabama” from Lynyrd Skynyrd which mentions Muscle Shoals – The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section also known as The Swampers.
