Spring Is The Springboard To Fun

042819

What does spring mean to me? The end of a long dark, cold, grey period which I always feel I have to endure and therefore end up comfort eating and being lazier than I would like.

Spring makes me feel excited and optimistic and energised. I am a summer girl through and through, but spring prepares me for what is to come. All sorts moves me to start sorting out my life, my schedule, my wardrobe, so that I can enjoy every moment of the warmer months to come.

My heart lifts when blossom appears and flowers of very colour. I find my smiles becoming abundant. There is a spring in my step and a song in my heart and I relish every moment of being awake. Spring means life and colour and warmth – and it’s a sign that there is lots of fun ahead!

  1. I agree. Everything is beautiful during spring time. I feel sad for have some allergies that do not allow me to enjoy the nature a bit more!

    1. Spring and summer can be hard going if you have allergies. I regularly have visitors that come to my little abide and within a short time their eyes and nose are streaming because of the wisteria!

  2. Spring is the season when i can take the most flower photographs and post them for all to enjoy.

I know it is Springtime when my Poppies start to ‘pop’ 🙂

    1. I bet you can! I am wondering is Australia a bit grey in winter. I don’t mind at all…I just wondered what to expect.
I am looking forward to being with Goldfinch more than anything, I shan’t be complaining about the weather.

      1. Oz is a big (Magical) place! Depending upon which part you are in, Winter could be cold enough to snow or hot enough to get around in a bikini ( or swimwear of choice!! ) ;-).

My part which is roughly in the ‘middle’ ranges gets cool, grey, wet, wintery days (maybe 30-40 of them, interspersed with pleasant, dry, blue sky days, sometimes with white fluffy clouds!) 🙂

Expect something like a London late Autumn for most places!

One weird thing though… at least where i live the temperatures seem high compared to England, but somehow it can FEEL cold? maybe because we just don’t dress for cooler weather as we are not used to real cold??

Even English visitors notice this and say it’s ‘cold’ when it is like 10-15 degrees C?

I don’t believe you will have anything to complain about down here. 🙂
