You’re Gonna Hear Me Roar

The theme Jim Adams, aka Newwpicauthor, has chosen for this week’s SONG-LYRIC-SUNDAY is Animal. This should be a really fun theme. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!

I have to admit I am not a great fan of modern pop music. Some of it is alright. But most of it I avoid.

Jack, my ex-flatmate, had more of a thing for pop music. He loved all music. He was a performer after all. He loved singing. He used to sing in the shower, sing in the kitchen early in the morning. In fact it was one of the things I loved about living with him – he was always singing.

He went through a stage when this song was stuck in his head! I cannot tell you how many times I woke up hearing Jack singing the chorus to this song at the top of his voice!
