As Long As The Seasons Need To Follow Their Plan

IMG_1345How long will I love you? How long will I love Goldfinch? Aaaah sigh! The answer my friend is best answered with the delicious melodic tones in Kristina Train’s voice.

Helen Vahdati, the creator of This Thing Called Life One Word at a Time has chosen the theme SEASON for this week’s SONG-LYRIC-SUNDAY.

Take a look at her original post below and please do feel free to create a post of your own and join in:

Song Lyric Sunday Theme for 12/23/18

“How Long Will I Love You?”

How long will I love you?
As long as there are stars above you
And longer if I can

How long will I need you?
As long as the seasons need to
Follow their plan

How long will I be with you?
As long as the sea is bound to
Wash upon the sand

How long will I want you?
As long as you want me to
And longer by far

How long will I hold you?
As long as your father told you
As long as you are

How long will I give to you?
As long as I live through you
However long you say

How long will I love you?
As long as stars are above you
And longer if I may

    1. She is the love of your life – every song with lyrics that touch your heart will stir special memories with the woman who made an indelible mark on your heart and mind.

Music and lyrics can be so powerful. I think this song is very touching.

I found that even when I was secure and full of joy with my gorgeous Goldfinch, there were songs and movies that made me think of my ex-flatmate who has effected me more profoundly than anyone else so far. Sometimes I felt bad about that – but it’s as if that’s the way my brain has been wired by my experiences.
