I am allowed to sit down and read at quiet times during my new job (when any work that needs doing is completed). I have started to make sure there is a book in my bag.
Well, I decided that I would take my journal from the time I spent out in Ghana to work with me and I am reading through it laughing and smiling, sometimes tears welling up at such brilliant memories I have recorded with colourful detail.
There is so much in there…and I fully intend to share some of it with you in future posts. It’s something I have wanted to do for a long time, but I think now is the right time. I am sure that dwelling on our warm and colourful experiences in Ghana, will help me to endure the cold grey winter ahead.
